What the Name Means
The firm is based in the Chess Valley of the Chilterns, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The firm takes its’ name from the River Chess. That setting reflects the same principle: measured, controlled, and deliberate. The work itself is no different. Every case is approached with clarity, structure, and forward thinking.
And much like the game of Chess, we reflect on how we approach every case. Chess is not a game of reaction. The advantage lies with the player who anticipates what comes next, and the move after that.
